Moomba 2016

Long weekend time again in Australia. Moomba came around again and so did carnies trying to con you out of your last $10. Karl was a real champ and enjoyed every minute of the free 45min BMX tuition while his baby brother cried and cried and refused to join in. We then went to look at a puppy and she was so cute. What name? (email me ideas) - It's a Shih tzu so she can't be called "Spike"

Summer Fun 2016

Just a quick post; summer so far has been great with loads of sunshine. We are truly blessed in the "lucky country".

It's amazing how fast time goes, searching for rocks, swimming, visiting breweries....:) It's been a long "almost" 6 weeks of school holidays and I think the kids are ready to go back to school. Time to pack the school bags and get them ready!

Martin's 8th Birthday

Martin decided that this year he didn't want to celebrate his Birthday in the morning but rather wait until he got home after school.

His choice for dinner, Mexican, so we headed off to Viva Mexico for nachos, tacos and margaritas! After dinner, we came home and had Birthday cake and opened his presents.
First up, a spy watch, followed by a build your own dinosaur, football net and what he's been wishing for all along...Tracy Island...oh, and don't forget money from grandad and granny from the UK and SA...lucky boy:)

Xtremeair Birthday Party

This year, we held the boys combined Birthday party at Xtremeair. 20 kids, 90mins, it cost an absolute bomb but at least we did not have to clean up. And the best part about the party, wasn't the foam pit or the trampolines....it was the food fight!

(NOTE: The hosts said that this party was the messiest they had ever seen).

Karl's Birthday 2015

Unbelievable; Karl turned ten: What did Dad organise for the day? Yes, a "Lego Robotics Course" - The ultimate surprise and boy o boy did the boys hate it. It's the whole new laziness that has infected the both Gen-Y and Gen-Z.
