Christmas In Australia 2016

This year the kids got basic presents, books and practical gifts. The weather was fantastic and the food as usual was superb. Mom's gift came a little late and Dad got his cologne from Mr. Versace. We all enjoyed G's pavlova while crackers were popped and the kids fought over the best prises.

School Christmas play

Another year, another play. It's hard to believe that Karl will be in his last year of primary school next year. Time sure does fly. Martin blew the recorder while his royalness stood at the back making illuminati signs. It was a wonderful day as we sat on deckchairs watching the grades put on a  fantastic show. Mom and Dad were very proud.

I'm a Citizen - Finally

Seeing as I had nearly 5 months off sitting around doing nothing...I finally got my paperwork together and got my citizenship. One more thing to tick off.

Ceremony was a very happy occasion and the Matthew McConaughey look alike got off to a shaky start, but he was soon getting into the 'swing' of things as was the organist who rose out of the floor in grandiose style!

It's a small world when you bump onto your kid's soccer coach and your son's best friend and his family who are all there to do the same. I've now finally got a Westringia to match the one that is flourishing well in the back garden, thanks Moorrabbin Rotary Club, and sorry I was so picky! :)

Martin's 9th Birthday

Happy Birthday Martin! What's on the wish list this year...Grossery Gang! More little squishy things to get stuck in the vacuum cleaner or down the dog's throat.

Good on you Martin for banking the $100 from Granny, the bank teller was very proud of you for saving your money every year, just think another 9 years time and you'll nearly have $1500...provided Granny keeps coughing up, thanks Granny💗😉

Karl's 11th

Happy Birthday Karl, and what does an 11 year old want for his Birthday.....$$$$ (and lots of it)! So we decided to give him a scavenger hunt and dot a few (quite a few) $10 notes around the house. No birthday however is the same without presents, and he loves his poo emoji cushion and retro plates.
