Climbing and finding gold

Another fun-filled weekend where the boys got to have a great time. Saturday we went too Tunzafunxtreme to meet my boetie van die Kaap and let the boys, and girl, climb wild. After that we got home in time for Martins friend who came round for dinner (Crust Pizza), roasted marshmallows and Fifa17. Sunday came and Martin was off to golf followed by a tasty lunch at The Garden of Good and Evil in Cheltenham. We then headed off to the beach to find gold with our new metal detector (next time we'll bring a spade). Off skiing again soon so fingers crossed for more of that lovely global warming we are having here in Australia.

Indoor golf - it's winter people

It been a busy few months with a new job and re-mortgaging (and all that other life shit), so basically getting back on track so what better a way to enjoy the weekend than a round of golf. As you know Martin is turning into quite the golfer so we headed out as we do on weekly basis for 9-holes at X-Golf. 60min gives us 9-holes with time for a bite to eat and at $30 it's a bloody bargain. Did I mention Martin beat me today - Fair and Square (man that makes me proud).

PS It is winter with morning starting at 0 degrees but being Melbourne the days warm and the heating inside keeps us all at a very comfy 21.

Hawthorn Inductee Dinner 2017

What an evening with the Hawthorn FC and friends. The players were outstanding and special kudos goes to Jack Gunston and Luke Hodge for being absolute gentleman. The food was fantastic and Martin was star struck. He held it together but by 10pm his eyes started to go but made it. He grabbed a lot of signatures and had the time of his life.

PS All dressed in Bardot Junior.

Moomba 2017

Another year, another Moomba. This year was pretty good with the weather being friendly and the boys in good spirits. It all started with a nice morning walk around the Yarra ready for the 11am skateboard lesson. After that we ate and played the obligatory carnival games. $200 dollars later we left for home with $10's worth of fluffy toys and smiles on our faces.
