Moomba 2019

It's that time again: Do we ever learn our lesson? Loved Mooba this year as we were joined by a few friends who had never been. Thankfully the weather was not scorching, so walking around was pleasant with the rides super expensive but worth every bit of debt I'll incur later. We then ventured down Flinders Lane to look at the art followed by a light lunch at Movida.

Tubing

It was another spectacular day in Melbourne and we set out to test the new tube. Mom was the spotter and Karl Jnr was our test pilot. All worked a charm and we're looking forward to a day where Port Philip Bay is flat. PS The pool table arrived today so we have some hustling to do. PPS Note Martins Van's slides.

Yarra Valley Railway

Today we decided to head back to Healsville to ride the Yarra Valley Railway. We got the first train at 10am and took the scenic 35min journey. We saw brooks, kangaroos and even a haunted tunnel. Martin got to blow the horn and we all learned something new about the areas. We then headed off to The Old Bullock Dray for a nice shared brunch, then off home for a well deserved cold beer.

Melbourne Rocks

I've lived all over the world and this Melbourne just makes everyday feel like a holiday. Away from 'most' of the world's problems, bathed in sunlight, its no wonder everyone and his dog is trying to get here. Spending #AustraliaDay on the beach then home for some lamb, (easier as it has fewer cultural issues) a few beers with family as that's what life is all about, and the dog.

Gumbuya World

The boys an I headed off to Gumbuya World for a fun day before their holidays come to an end. We got their early and had a great time exploring the 4 zones and taking the rides. We left just after 2PM as the thermometer hit 40. Then it was back home and in the pool.
