1st Feed after Flu

After two months the restaurants have 'finally' opened and the best way to celebrate was to drive down the peninsula and have a feed. We popped into Barmah Park Restaurant & Cellar Door and enjoyed a great family meal. It is good to see that the flu season is nearly over and the insanity is ebbing. All we now have to deal with is the protests and riots. :-)

Roughing it

Long weekend = Getting away, and what better a place to do this is in the Victorian countryside. We headed out for a motocross weekend in Gippsland where we stayed at the Starglen Lodge. After a few falls, we headed out to Mansfield for lunch, putt-putt (we normally stop in Mansfield to get snow chains) and a cold beer in Bonnie Doon Hotel where we went down to Lake Eildon to investigate our next adventure.

Mordi Food & Wine festival

We have not been in a while so this year with thought we would head down to see what delights they had on offer. After giving myself 3rd degree burns with the hot sauce on my brisket bun I did not taste the beers after. It was also Georgie's and my 5th wedding anniversary. Did I mention we met the Pratts who also enjoyed the afternoon?

What a lovely day in Mordi

Feedback Loops

We hooked up with the Pratts to look at an exhibition at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA) called Feedback Loops. The boys enjoyed the large screen video game and marvelled at the interesting art. Well worth a visit.

Gumbuya World 2019

The end of the year is fast approaching and what a way to close off the year with a trip to Gumbuya World. It was a cool 40 degrees so the water was fantastic and with phase two complete there were so many new options. Both mom and dad did the tube and holy crap was I not prepared for the speed while I clung onto the GoPro. After that, it was back to chilling and wading in the wave pool.
