Mansfield MX Feb 2021

Another short break for the Fam. We arrived on Sunday....... kicked back and enjoyed the pool (was 33) and some tennis at the Alzburg. The next day we had a great brekkie (thanks mom) and left for The Pines in Goughrs Bay to do some motocross. After the old boy got a workout (and a mild heart attack) we returned to the pool after a great meal at The Delatite Hotel. 

Looking forward to going back for more fun.

Mansfield Fun

Port Nepean

We decided to head down to Port Nepean which was an old army base during the world wars. it was a great ride with loads of history only to be let down by the usual lack of amenities. Georgie recovering from a minor operation strolled to the beach to take a few shots in a different aspect ratio (native to the camera).

LysterField Park

Today we went to LysterField Park to look at the trails and jumps. It was a good excursion and now we know what to do and what to bring with....... It also means we need a few more bikes so we can all enjoy the trails and beauty of what is right on our doorstep. Yes, we had a kebab on the way home....... Did not pack enough.

Ride

It's the final post for 2020 and I'm looking forward to more idiocy in 2021. Yesterday we went to our motocross club and had a spin. Martin's skills are improving and I've discovered I'm fat and unfit. We stopped off at Stumpy Gulley for a snack on the way home and had a $36 cheese platter (you be the judge) and some drinks. 

Today (New Year's Eve) we met up with Neil and Fam. for some rollerblading at RollerRama. I have not done this in 30 years so was a little rusty. It was fun but the boys hated it as it was 'un-cool' which means they now need to have lessons (evil laugher).

Mansfield 2020

We all needed a short break after the #Covid nonsense and what better than to visit Mansfield in regional Victoria. We stayed at The Arlzburg and it was great. A visit to the Mansfield Zoo and short trips to nearby towns rounded off our holiday. We are going again in February and will bring the dirtbikes.
