End of another year

I finally had a few days off and we spent the time as a family getting out and about. We travelled to meet a mate who bought a few hectares in Gippsland and then went to visit Inverloch. What a lovely town and it's no wonder the prices are through the roof. The following day we headed to Dromana for breakfast to meet an old work colleague. We then had a day of rest before we hit St Kilda Beach to teach Martin how to ski. It's now NYE and besides a quick cycle to the brewery and a swim, it will be a quiet one before we start 2023.

Bendigo

What a great short holiday it was with the boys on form with some fantastic weather. We basically saw every single tourist attraction in Bendigo bar none. We had a quick stop in Castlemaine to visit a fantastic Viennese restaurant then ventured into Bendigo. We rode the tram, visited the Chinese Golden Dragon Museum and even ventured underground to see how they mined gold. The hotel was fantastic with a large indoor pool, slots and great food.

Ten-Pin 22

It was the first time in a while we went tenpin bowling (interesting change, you don't have to wear 'the shoes'). So after a hearty brekkie, we headed off. It all went down to the last frame where Martin got a spare in the 10th frame to win the game. After the game, it was the usual fun where the boys get competitive. Christmas is fast approaching people; I hope to have some fun posts for all. PS Don't forget your 5th jab, it saves lives.

Melbourne Show 2022

It's the first show since the end of the scamdemic. We currently have thousands of cases and 11 deaths per day and people carry on like normal. It just goes to show how easily people can be controlled? It was a fun day where we met some friends and their kids (they are on the ride) had a snack and walked around looking at the various stalls and exhibitions. After a lot of people watching it was time to head home, a little poorer, to watch the AFL Grand Final. O', we did get showbags.

Golden Beach V3.0

We once again went to Golden Beach for a short getaway. The doggo came with us (for the last time) and enjoyed the usual pampering at our expense. Motocross was good with Martin hitting the dust hard but like a champ kept going..... Yes, we (I) were a little slow but I'm fat and unfit so give me a break. We also visited Sale and enjoyed the Gippsland Art Gallery and local pastries. People are slow (breath in breath out) but friendly so it cancels (kinda). The strangest thing was the dinner at the 'Bistro' run by volunteers; it was like going back in time surrounded by automatons. We live in a matrix.............built to make us suffer.

Mom visits Melbourne 2022

After the end (patience, a new one will come) of the ScamDemic mom came to visit. While older she has lost none of her spirit. It all started with an Easter service at Christ Church Dingley and then the holiday started. We did a few firsts; taking mom to an AFL game and trying new food that is pretty foreign to these South Africans. We then went on holiday to Moama, on the NSW border and VIC, which is separated by the Murray River. It was sad to see mom leave but Karl and Georgie will soon be in South Africa soon.

We've been meaning to go there for 10 years and finally, we did it. The weather was not that flash but it was still heaps of fun.

STEM Evening

We attended a STEM event at the boy's school. I wish I had taken more pictures so I substituted them with a recent snack and one of the dog. The boys were great, robotics and superchef is something they are doing this year as an extra program (the chef training them in one of the pictures is the owner from Oscars Hangout). PS Martin was with the 'smart kids'.

Moomba 2022

Moomba time again: That great family tradition when we can watch the local wildlife. Today the 'Covid19 science' was pumping where at 40000 active cases people can smash it and last year (with no poison jabs) we had no cases and Moomba was littered with police and we needed a ticket to enter. This world is cooked.

It was hot and busy so after a walk and watch (Birdman) we headed to Chadstone for a bite.

Merimbula Get-Away

We took a few days off and headed to Merimbula in NSW where the unvaccinated (aka purebloods) can live a normal life and go to restaurants, play golf and have their hair cut. We stayed at the Fairway Motor Inn opposite the golf course where we had a great game with the native wildlife. It was a jam-packed holiday with paddle boarding, bodyboarding and filling our faces with great food in fantastic weather. Another highlight was the Oyster boat Tour and time at Magic Mountain.

Besides the idiot mask rules which was ignored, it was a great time and we all just want to go back.

First post of 2022 - OmiCon

Another year down the toilet. What a total joke 2021 was. Hype after hype with the media pumping out fearporn that the low IQ populous lap up. What did people do before the government told them they need to be tested to check if they were sick. Now that is off my chest it was a great Christmas and NY..... The weather was great and we got by even with these draconian laws for the Untermensch (that's us). Planning some leave soon but we'll see how things shape up as people are now scared to live. Was at Mentone X-Golf today as I cannot play real golf in this State, go-figure. Earlier in the day we went to Mordialloc by bicycle and had a Lifesavers and enjoyed what people cannot destroy. We also enjoyed Mom's fantastic homemade pizza that is made from scratch... RESPECT.
